Hosting the Paris Global Gourmet
Benoit wears yet another of his many hats, today he is preparing lunch for the American Women’s Group at their Global Gourmet Cooking Class. Benoit was invited to host the day and demonstrate West African cuisine to this group of Parisian cooking enthusiasts. Despite the fact that Benoit is 100% French, he spent much of his youth in Cameroon and Côte d'Ivoire. Here, he acquired a passion for the delicacies of this region. The menu for this class was a classic African dish Mafe Chicken with steamed attieke and sauteed plantains, all paired with a delicious Cote de Brouilly from Beaujolais. The class included an exotic cocktail combining coconut water, lime juice and sparking white wine.
